In 2024 New orleans water polo club received a grant from usa wp to start programs in new orleans. We had a vision of teams all over the city, playing each other, and traveling to the water polo hubs in texas, atlanta, or florida, and competing with some of the biggest clubs in the country. we also looked at our current area, and saw that as an area with a very water-based culture, we lead the nation in youth drowining rates. it is our mission to teach life-saving skills of becoming stronger in the water to our student athletes. we welcomed our first atheltes in the summer of 2024, who immediately fell in love with the sport.

our first high school season is spring 2025. we are currently accepting individual athletes and school team entrants.
